E centre was abuzz with glamour recently as A list actors bombarded the
Ozone Cinemas for the premiere of the long anticipated movie by Uche
Jombo; My Life, My Damage.
Stars including Tonto Dikeh, Uche Jombo and her husband Kenny Rodriguez, Rita Dominic, Chidi Mokeme, Desmond Elliott, AGN president Ibinabo Fiberisima, Ufuoma Ejenobor, Stephanie Okereke, Rukky Sanda, Monalisa Chinda, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, AY, Clint the Drunk, Munachi Abii, Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere of Silverbird TV, Emem Isong, Sexy Steel, Keira Hewatch and a host of others strutted the red carpet.
One of the highlights of the event was the special appearance of Kenny Rodriguez, Uche’s husband who flew in from the States on the eve of the premiere to rally a robust support for his delectable wife.
My Life, My Damage is a story of a young Nigerian girl with big dreams of becoming a seasoned doctor abroad and her struggles with drugs and the harsh reality of living with HIV/AIDS.
Tonto Dikeh played the lead role as Dora the antagonist in the movie which is her cinema debut, and thus places her in the ranks of bankable Nollywood actors. She has featured in over 50 movies.
The movie is one of the many produced by the multi award winning actress and producer Uche Jombo Rodriguez. The script writer who has been on our screens for a long time now has featured in many movies live Girls cot, Games Men Play, The Celebrity; Damage; Unguarded and so many others.
