Globally famous American TV personality, Kim Kardashian will be celebrating her Valentine’s season in Lagos, Nigeria. This was confirmed by her host, R&B singer, Darey Art Alade, today.
P.M.NEWS learnt that the global tabloids’ sweetheart will be coming as a co-host and ‘special platinum guest’ for Darey’s upcoming big-budget Valentine’ “Love…Like a Movie” concert holding on 17 February at the Convention Centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos..
“Kim will be joining us for this first-of-its-kind concert here in Lagos. There are millions of Nigerians who follow Kim on her different shows, especially “Keeping up with the Kardashians”, and we thought it would be a good idea to have her co-host the “Love…Like A Movie” with me,” Darey enthused.
During her first ever visit to Nigeria, apart from co-hosting the concert, Kim would join other Nigeria celebrities and the concert’s platinum ticket holders for an exclusive VIP pre-event dinner. Some privileged Nigerian photojournalists will also have the opportunity of capturing her growing baby bump which she has been showing off lately.
Kim, 32, is widely known and admired, worldwide, for her show in E! Network’s reality TV series “Keeping up with the Kardashians” along with sisters Khloe, Kendal and Kourtney, and mother Kris Jenner. Her global rating revved up when the news of relationship with hip-hop superstar, Kanye West, hit headlines. They are both expecting their first child in a matter of months.
Already, arrangement has been prepped up to make the concert that of an unforgettable evening of music, dance and drama in celebration of love and lovers. Nigerian music superstars including PSquare, 9ice, 2Face Idibia, Flavour, Iyanya, Praiz, Timi Dakolo, Waje and Ice Prince will join Darey and his Soul Muzik acts Zaina and Mo Eazy. South African group, Jozi, who worked with Darey on the remix of the hit track ‘Asiko’ are also on the bill.
“Love…Like A Movie” is theatrical valentine concert, produced by Soul Muzik as an exhibition of performance varieties, using the interpretation of powerful emotions, music, cross-culture dance and acrobatic performances, lights, moving images and customized sets. Apart from Dare’s friends and collaborators from here and abroad, the concert will also feature The KITONB Project, an extreme theatre company from Italy, whose electrifying aerial maneuvers and choreography will touch the soul.
She is expected to arrive Lagos middle of next week.
