Nollywood takes ‘Last Flight to Abuja’

It was a gathering of stars when Nollywood producer-director, Obi Emelonye held the Nigeria premier of his latest film, Last Flight to Abuja on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, Lekki in Lagos
Ably anchored by Cool FM O.A.P, Freeze, the show had in attendance celebrities including film makers, Emem Isong, Teco Benson, Tarila Thompson, Kunle Afolayan, comedians, AY, Yaw, Julius Agwu and actors, Omoni Oboli, Eniola Badmus, Halima Abubakar and others.
The movie which was dedicated to the victims of the DANA Air plane crash told the story of individuals who battled to save their life while on board an aircraft  which developed fault midway in the skies and eventually crash landed before getting to its destination.
According to the producer-director, the movie was inspired by a need to take sensitive looks into the Nigeria’s aviation sector.
The movie features a roll call of major actors, including Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Jim Iyke, Hakim Kae Kazim, Jide Kosoko, and newcomer Celine Loade
