Nigeria books place in 2014 World Cup with 2-0 over Ethiopia

WorldStage Newsonline—African champions, the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday booked a place in 2014 World Cup in Brazil after a 2-0 defeat of Ethiopian National team at the U.J Esuene stadium, Calabar.
Victor Moses put the Eagles ahead in the 14 minutes from the spot after Hailu Aynalem handled the ball in his own goal area while Obinna Nsofor added the second goal in the second half when his well taken free kick beat Ethiopian goalkeeper, Sisay Bancha.
With this, Nigeria flew over the last obstacle with a 4-1 aggregate win over Ethiopia and became the first African side to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
