Zuriel Oduwole is officially the first Nigerian African Girl-Child educational campaigner, and she was recently became the Global Ambassador for the Ethiopian Airlines. Imagine that for a minute…

The airline, as part of her ambassadorial agreement, will be Zuriel’s official carrier to her various engagements across three continents (including Africa and South America), where she will be continuing her cause for the education of the Girl Child with world leaders.

That is not all. Zuriel, at age ten, became the first ten year old to interview eight incumbent heads of State. She is also the first (and only, we might add) ten year old to interview Aliko Dangote, and she has been compared with Larry King and Oprah Winfrey several times because of her remarkable interviewing abilities.

Zuriel is also the first ten-year old to be accredited to a World Press conference, where she competed with correspondents from CNN, CNBC and Reuters).

She is the first ten year old to interview Venus and Serena Williams, the first ten-year old to feature in the prestigious Forbes magazine and also the first African child to be appointed honorary ambassador by a foreign government.

The name “Zuriel” is of Hebrew origin and it means “God is my Rock”. She believes that if she can walk a mile, there are girls who can draw inspiration from her and walk a mile and half.
