Insight claims the Cannes Lions Award

Marketing communications agency, Insight Communications, has set the tone for the year, winning a Press Lions National Diploma from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, a global event for professionals working in the advertising and creative communications industry.
The Cannes Lions certification honours the best work with the highest mark received from a country in the first round of voting.
Insight’s National Diploma was awarded for the agency’s press campaign for Enterprise Bank’s “Sleeping Pound” in the Banking, Investment and Insurance category, entered for the 61st International Festival of Creativity, held in Cannes, France between June 15 and 21, 2014.
Executive Creative Director, Insight, Chima Okenimkpe, said, “This is a testament that Nigerian agencies can attain global recognition with creative works that stand out from the clutter and make an impact. A lot more agencies are winning international awards and recognition, and Insight will continue to help champion creativity and innovation in the Nigerian marketing communications industry.”
The achievement is coming on the heels of the 2014 Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival, in which the agency bagged 44 awards and the highest number of medals (4 Gold, 15 Silver, 25 Bronze).
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the largest gathering of worldwide advertising professionals, designers, digital innovators and marketers.
