Prince William and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, have named
their newborn son -- George Alexander Louis, the Kensington Palace said
Wednesday.
The third in line to the throne, who was born Monday at St. Mary's Hospital in London, will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge, BBC reported.
It is believed that the queen was told of Prince George's name when she met him for the first time Wednesday. Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall had visited the couple and their baby in hospital.
