The federal government has declared Thursday September 24th, and Friday September 25th as public holidays to mark Id-El-Kabir.
According to Daily Trust, the announcement was made in a statement by the Director of Press, Ministry of Interior, Yusuf Isiaka Alhaji on Monday.
The report further states:
The Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Abubakar Magaji, enjoined all Muslim faithfuls and Nigerians from all walks of life to extend the religious benefits of the Id-El-Kabir festival, which includes love, peace, empathy and tolerance to one another for the overall development of the nation.
