Sterling Bank presents the 3rd edition of Get Ready for Work; an event organized to prepare young people for life after tertiary institution.
A gulf exists in the minds of many regarding where they desire to be career-wise. This is mostly because the world has moved from certain employment based on course of study to opportunities based on skill and talent. Get Ready for Work 2015 themed ‘Mind The Gap‘ is organized to help participants understand what is required to make it.
The event slated for September 11th, 2015 will enable participants take a test to determine if they are cut out to be in the corporate world or fit to become entrepreneurs. This session will be handled by life coach/psychoanalyst;Jerome Onipede. Participants will also engage entrepreneurs in a masterclass on what it takes to develop a business and make it in the cut-throat environment like Nigeria. Another masterclass will also hold for career focused individuals to learn how to become employees of value in any organization of their choice.
The event will also give participants the opportunity to interact with HR representatives of various organizations and undergo on-the-spot testing with a view of securing jobs.
