#10: Laucala Island Resort, Fiji
The whole island is owned by Red Bull’s billionaire owner and consists of just 25 villas. At $40,000 a night, the best of the lot has panoramic views of the island, free massages, and horse rides on the beach.
#9: Sky Villa At Palms Casino Resort, Nevada
$40,000-a-night price tag. Covering 9,000 square feet, this villa includes a 12-person, glass-enclosed Jacuzzi pool that looks over that Vegas Strip, plus private terraces, a private glass elevator, a fitness room, massage room and dry sauna as well as 24-hour butler service.
#8: Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez
Costing $40k per night, the art deco Presidential Suite at the Grand Hyatt Martinez Cannes, located on Boulevard de la Croisette and opened in 1929, is complete with four bedrooms, two lounge and dining rooms, two studies, two saunas and four bathrooms, each containing its own hydrotherapy bath and Turkish bath/shower.

The Grand Resort Lagonissi doesn’t have a price list but it is estimated to cost around the 40k mark. The lavish Raj Palace hotel offers its suites at a steep $60,000 a night. In addition to six bedrooms, guests will enjoy a library, private theater, astrology room and private kitchen staff. The hotel is also currently undergoing renovations, with plans to include a 24,000-square-foot landscaped terrace garden and a three-sided infinity pool.
#2: The Royal Penthouse Suite at the Hotel President Wilson in Geneva, Switzerland
At 60,000 Swiss Francs a night — or about $68,000 US depending on the exchange rate — this is the most expensive hotel room in the world. The suite has hosted the likes of Bill Gates and Michael Douglas.The 19,376sqft suite features four bedrooms, 12 marble bathrooms, its own gym, a billiards table and a Steinway grand piano in case you fancy playing a little tune.

The ultimate and most expensive overnight room is not quite a hotel, it is in fact a submarine. It comes with a full crew which takes you to the depths of the ocean for a peaceful nights sleep.
