Talk about true love.
A Texas couple decided to celebrate their milestone 40th wedding anniversary by recreating their super sweet wedding photos.
Their son Jay Johnson posted the originals and the remakes in a Reddit thread, saying he was excited to see the reactions.
Carolyn and Dexter wed in 1975 in Cleveland, Ohio, at the ages of 20 and 27.
For their original portraits, they posed on a Harley Davidson in their driveway, complete with their wedding garb - which Carolyn designed herself.
The bride made her own wedding dress and her new husband's jacket, which they pulled out of storage for the 2015 shoot.
"They met in a bar called 'The Lower Level' and his first words to her were 'You wanna boogie?'. If that isn't the start to a great love story, I don't know what is," he wrote.
"I'm excited to see the reaction to the photos," he told The Huffington Post.
The reaction so far? In addition to those commenting on how a couple like this gives hope to the rest of us, photo experts have even topped up the colour to return it to its former glory.
