The much awaited and widely discussed wedding of rap star Kanye West and reality TvVstar, Kim Kardashian went down today in Florence, Italy with the lovebirds saying “I do” in a sunset ceremony witnessed by 200 family and friends.

According to People magazine, Miami pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr performed the ceremony, while Kardashian (who, along with her bridesmaids, was dressed all in white) was walked down the aisle by stepfather Bruce Jenner, as Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli sang.
West and Kardashian began dating in 2012 and got engaged last October after West proposed at San Francisco’s AT & T Park stadium.

The wedding topped off a nearly week-long celebration in Paris, where friends and family of the famous couple enjoyed a pre-wedding brunch at fashion designer Valentino’s chateau and an elaborate wedding-eve cocktail party at the Palace of Versailles.
This is the first marriage for West. Kardashian was previously married to music producer Damon Thomas in 2000 and, famously, basketballer Kris Humphries in 2011, whom she split from just 72 days later after a lavish televised ceremony. The TV star however seemed sure about her choice this time.
Kardashian’s mum Kris Jenner told E! News she was “beyond bursting with happiness”.
“Such a magical, romantic wedding,” she said. “I feel blessed to have my new son and his family as part of ours.”

However, there was no sign of celeb pals Beyonce and Jay Z, or Justin Bieber, who was rumoured to be attending.
