SEUN KUTI, JILL SCOTT, MI, others set for Lagos Jazz Series

THE city of Lagos, will in a few weeks, play host to top music acts as the fourth edition of the Lagos Jazz Series takes off. The event is scheduled to hold between November 27 and December 1, 2013.
According to the organizers, it is going to be a music festival as never been seen in the Lagos metropolis.  Artistes are to perform at fantastic outdoor locations in eight events for five days.  Four of those five days will have two simultaneous events at different locations.
Artistes already booked for the event include Jill Scott, a seasoned three time Grammy Award winning Jazz/R n’ B and soul vocalist.  Jill is also a songwriter, actress and poet.  Marcus Miller, a two-time Grammy Award winner, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist.  Also on the list are Pat Metheny, a prolific American jazz guitarist and composer.  Branford Marsalis, Seun Kuti, Robert Glasper, MI Abaga and the Antibales.
The 2012 Lagos Jazz Series is a line-up of artistes from different genres with their powerful and electrifying performances.  Lagos Jazz Series has also gone a step higher this year by bringing to Lagosians, The African Stage, which will be at the Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos, where different genres of music will be performed.
Lagos Jazz Series 2013 is one of the events that will usher in the Christmas season.
