Sure, you’ve seen these reviews time and time again. But we’re still gonna have Apple’s iPhone 6S and Samsung’s Galaxy S6 compared for you anyway. Have a look at it for yourself below!
Design (Winner: Draw)
You know these two are equally gorgeous, but there’s always a weakness in one or another. The Galaxy S6 has moved away from their traditional plastic chassis of its predecessor, and have opted for a milled aluminium frame with a shimmering glass at the back. We’ve gotta admit though, the metal does it make it slightly more slippery, so if you don’t have a casing on, the tendency for it to fall might be really high. Although the iPhone 6S is only an “S” upgrade, there’s no denying the fact that it’s still looking gorgeous as ever; if not, flawless. With strengthened screen glass and hardened aluminium frame, it might strike as being too sturdy for some, but then again, the difference between these two phones are really minimal.
Display (Winner: Samsung Galaxy S6)
The Galaxy S6’s 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display has a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 and a pixel density of 576ppi, whereas the iPhone 6S’ 4.7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD has a resolution of 750 x 1,334 with a pixel density of 326ppi. Though these figures might seem pretty obvious that the S6’s display topples over the 6S, the latter is still awesome on its own regardless. But there’s no denying that the S6 beats the 6S with its Super AMOLED display reproducing an incredible 98.5% of the sRGB colour gamut, despite the fact that the iPhone 6S has fantastic colour accuracy too.
Features (Winner: iPhone 6S)
iPhone wins here with the 3D Touch. The 3D Touch effectively adds a right-click capability to the phone, and when you use it with the camera app, you’ll also be getting Selfie, Video, Slo-mo and Take Photo shortcuts, while Safari offers you options for a standard and private tab creation too. While the Galaxy S6 may not have any special features that would topple down the 6S in regards of features, it does come with these: heart rate monitor, an infrared transceiver and in-built wireless charging.
And there you have it, there’s certainly no clear winner here, though we would have to admit that the Samsung Galaxy S6 might just be 0.00001 percent better. Still, let’s not make this into an argument and just enjoy the phone for what it is
