Head Business Development Vacancy At A Reputable Microfinance Bank

Our client a notable and vibrant Micro finance Bank requires urgently the service of highly skilled candidate to fill the afore-mentioned position
JOB OBJECTIVE/SUMMARY:
To manage the development and implementation of new business initiatives and with distinctive features, for full integration into mainstream products and services

To develop and implement effective marketing and customer service strategy for the bank, which arises from a clear understanding of the market
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
i.Understand the needs of the market and determine the products and services that will effectively meet those needs
ii.Initiate new products and advise management on the new initiatives accordingly
iii.Conduct market research to determine and understand the needs of small scale enterprises the unit seeks to serve
iv.Determine loan and credit products that would appropriately meet their needs
v.Ensure that the policies and procedure of granting loans are effectively communicated to all branches
vi.Conduct clients business verification and carry out pre-loan training for new clients
vii.Recommend innovative means and strategies for continuously growing the niche market
viii.Design and review operational procedures for the new initiatives
ix.Set monthly and annual targets for new business initiatives and products
x.Monitor the performance of special products regularly and advise management accordingly
xi.Access and mobilize target clients for the business products
xii.Ensure quality delivery mechanism for products and services
xiii.Drive and monitor the process of integrating new initiatives 
xiv.Appraise subordinates promptly and objectively, and follows up on action points resulting from the appraisal
xv.Develop customer service strategy, policies and procedure for the bank
xvi.Ensure compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures in sourcing for clients and formation of groups
xvii.Ensure adherence to savings mobilisation and withdrawal policies
xviii.Develop and advise management on new products and service initiatives
xix.Drive growth in market expansion and mobilization
xx.Ensure that issues of dissatisfaction in client service delivery are promptly identified and addressed
xxi.Responsible for the overall performance of the department including coaching and mentoring of subordinates
xxii.Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Managing Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: A good bachelor degree or its equivalent in a business-related discipline. MBA and/or other relevant postgraduate or professional qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with at least 2 years in managerial position
Salary: Based on experience N4-6M based on qualification and wealth of experience in Micro-finance Banking
